1. Information We Collect

For Free Users: When you use Art Prompt Generator as an anonymous visitor, we do not collect personally identifiable information. Your free tier daily generation limit (30 prompts per day) is tracked only in your browser via local storage. Prompts are generated locally and not stored on our servers.

For Pro Users: If you create an account to access Pro features, we collect your email address for authentication, account recovery, and transactional notifications. Your subscription status and saved prompts are stored securely on our servers via Supabase. Billing information is processed by Stripe—we never store your full credit card number. If you use the export feature, CSV/JSON files are generated on demand and delivered to your browser.

2. How We Use Your Information

• To provide and improve the Art Prompt Generator service and features
• To process payments and manage your Pro subscription via Stripe
• To send transactional emails (e.g., subscription confirmations, receipts, password resets)
• To store and retrieve your saved prompts (Pro users only)
• To generate user-initiated exports of saved prompts in CSV/JSON format
• To monitor service health, detect abuse, and prevent circumvention of usage limits (anonymized data only)

3. Cookies and Local Storage

We use browser local storage to track your free daily generation count without requiring an account. We do not use tracking cookies or third-party analytics that identify you personally.

4. Third-Party Services

We use the following third-party services:

• Stripe- payment processing and billing management for Pro subscriptions. Subject to Stripe's Privacy Policy.
• Supabase - secure database for storing user accounts, saved prompts, and Pro subscription data. Subject to Supabase's Privacy Policy.
• Vercel- hosting and global edge deployment. Subject to Vercel's Privacy Policy.

5. Data Retention

Free Users: Local storage data (daily generation count) is retained only on your device and automatically resets each day.

Pro Users: Account data, email, and saved prompts are retained as long as your account is active. Upon subscription cancellation, your account remains accessible for 30 days, after which it can be permanently deleted upon request. You may request immediate deletion of your account and all associated data at any time by contacting support. Saved prompts are deleted immediately upon account deletion. Export files are user-initiated downloads and are not retained by us after delivery.
